The Global Think Tank Centre's intensive 5-day immersion and training programme aims to equip Think Tankers with essential skills, strategic insights, and innovative approaches for roles as Distinguished Fellows, Senior Fellows, and Senior Advisors.

This comprehensive 5-day immersion and training programme fosters a strong network of professionals dedicated to making a significant impact on global policies to function effectively as Global Think Tankers.

Programme Structure

Day 1: Introduction and Strategic Thinking

Participants are welcomed with an overview of the Global Think Tank's vision and mission. The day includes ice-breaking activities, a keynote speech by a renowned thought leader, and workshops on advanced strategic thinking techniques and policy analysis frameworks. Group exercises will focus on analysing current global issues.

Day 2: Thought Leadership and Innovation

This day emphasizes traits of effective thought leaders and fostering innovation in policy development. Participants will engage in seminars, interactive sessions, and workshops, culminating in a guest lecture on transformative innovations. Activities will include creating a culture of innovation and applying innovative approaches to policy challenges.

Day 3: Communication and Influence

Overview: The Junior Think Tank College's 6-week training programme is designed for high school graduates to develop key skills required for junior think tankers. The programme focuses on strategic thinking, analytical learning, decision making, long-term planning, and complex issue-solving skills. The programme will be delivered in a hybrid mode, including online self-instructional modules (SIM) and face-to-face sessions at Satellite bases in Malaysia, China, and the United Kingdom. The final week is a compulsory, intensive one-week session at University.
